Format
The Family Feud Challenge is organized around Two Person Best Ball format. 

Flighted Net Divisions.

Round 1 and 2 are best ball Round 3 is combined aggregate. 

So find your favorite golf family member that you can “ham and egg” it for a week.

Handicaps
All players participating in the Family Feud Challenge will play to their 12-month Low Handicap Index (this can be lower than your current handicap index). Please have your handicap GHIN # available when registering for easy verification.

Maximum Handicap for Men is 36.4 and 40.4 for Women.

Handicaps Differential 
Partner handicaps must be within 15 strokes of each other. If your partners handicap is above 15 strokes we’ll adjust their handicap to meet that requirement.

Huge Prize Purse
Fun Golf Vacations believes that if you WIN a golf tournament that you should be rewarded! So, the top 30% of each flight will be taking home cold hard CASH.

If you wish to forfeit your CASH for a Visa GC to keep your amateur status, please let the tournament organizers know before the start of the tournament.

Optional Side Cash Honey Pots
There is also an optional daily and three day overall cash honey pot payout. This is an additional cash buy in per player. The cost is $150.00 for the week.

Payouts are based on 12 team divisions and all teams participating.

Optional Daily Canadian Skins Game
There are also an optional daily cash skins game for all you birdie hunters. This is an additional cash buy in per player. The cost is $60.00 for the week. With a full field there will be $1,00.00 per day for skins. 

Daily On Course Skills Competitions
There are daily closest to the pin contests on all the Par 3’s. Some are by flight, and some are the entire field. Please check your morning rules sheet for contest holes. There will be $2,500 in on course skills competitions given away over the course of three days.

Sunday Night Kickoff cocktail meet and great at the Bar at Sea Root.

Wednesday Night Awards Ceremony October 7th at 6:45pm at the Spyglass Room at the Hyatt Regency.

We will award the Daily Honey Pot Payout for Wednesday as well as the Four Day Honey Pot payout. Trophies will be awarded to the winning teams.

Early arrival or late departure
Based upon availability, it is usually possible to come a few days early or stay a few days later. Let us know at registration if you’d like to arrive early. 

Airfare
Each player is responsible for their own airfare and car rentals which are quite reasonable at this time if the year.

Players can fly into either the San Jose Airport or the San Francisco International Airport. The drive from the either airport is approximately hour and a half to two hours. 

Car Rentals
I have found Costco Travel has some of the best rental rates, so if you’re a member go through Costco Travel to book your car rental. Turo.com is another great alternative. You can select pretty much any vehicle that you’ve ever wanted to drive. Think of AirBnB for cars.

Payment –
We accept all major forms of payment, Venmo, PayPal, Check, Zelle and all major credit cards. Due to the rise in merchant card fees, there is an online convenience fee for using your credit card. If you wish to skip those fees you can pay via Check, PayPal, Venmo or Zelle.

If paying with Check, PayPal, Venmo or Zelle, please submit payment within two weeks of registering. If you do not submit payment within two weeks you’ll receive an email notification for a reminder, after another week of nonpayment you’ll be removed from the list of registered players.

Deposit –
You may select to pay just the deposit of $350.00 to secure your spot for the tournament. Final payment will be automatically deducted from the same CC on 9.4.2026. You’ll receive a receipt via email. If you wish to use a different card, please contact eric@fungolfvacations.com to make arrangements.

Refunds –
If you need to cancel, below is the cancelation schedule and accompanying processing fee.

• From the date of registration and within the first 2 weeks full refund
• After the 2nd week there is a $200 processing fee for all refunds
• If you register within four weeks of the tournament date and need to cancel its non-refundable.

Raincheck Policy, if you can’t make the tournament for unforeseen circumstances but would like to roll over your deposit or entry fee to a future tournament or date that is an option. Email eric@fungolfvacations.com for details.
