OPTIONAL HONEY POTS
Each competitor can voluntarily elect to participate in his/her flights daily Honey Pots.
The daily Honey pot payouts ARE NOT financed from the entry fee; rather they are paid out of an optional $150.00 contribution to the Honey Pots.
Each flight has its own Honey Pot. The top 25% of each flight will be paid out each day. The payouts will vary range depending on the number of players in each Honey Pot.
We have reviewed this Honey Pot program with the USGA and confirmed these Honey Pot payouts do not result in players playing for “prize money.”
If a player wishes to receive his payout in a VISA gift card notify The Competition Committee at the time of registration prior to the start of the Championships.
Each day’s Honey Pot competition is a stand-alone event for purposes of the cash payouts.
The USGA Appendix – Policy on Gambling is included with the Rules of Amateurism later in this Player Handbook
